Our School Pool

Today is swimming, Yay! It's a hot day with sun gleaming out in the sky making the ground hot and people sweat. The pools open and ready, everyone's excited to jump in the pool, I am too. I slowly dunk my feet in and feel the refreshing water creep up my feet in a up and down motion. I dive in and Instantly get excited. We got to bring in hoops and balls to play catches. It was nice and chill in the water relaxing with everyone. I am just grateful for having a pool.

Explanation of the water cycle

The Water Cycle

Have you ever wondered how rain comes?

When the sun shines to the sea, the water warms up and creates a gas called water vapour. The process of sea water turning into gas is called evaporation.
Because the gas is lighter than liquids water, vapour rises up to the sky and they move up into the way of the earth's surface, it cools down and becomes back into water droplets.
The change of water vapour into water droplets is called condensation the opposite of evaporation.

Clouds are formed by little water droplets so when condensation forms up into the sky, clouds form and grow. The droplets combine together and form even bigger droplets, when the drops get heavy they fall, because of gravity, some even join together on the way down while falling. Also every single raindrop that reaches the ground is made of one million of the original tiny water droplets. That is my explanation to thoroughly explain how raindrops are formed and the way of The Water Cycle.

Have you dreamed about having powers?

Growing up I will be a master I will lead my city I will save my people from bad. Maturing older I have watched my dad with every step he took, he fought evil saving innocent people and also collecting different eyes to gain more power. My dad is as strong as a lion taking that leads and rules over a jungle. His sense of humour Mimics the same action a flower does when it opens up to the sun. I train harder and harder every day learning a new life lesson. One night i was out with my mother and sister going out to a restaurant. After we demolished the food we passed a bunch of drunk people causing trouble. One of the guy’s commented on my sister's appearance. I stormed looking at him. We made eye contact , I got angry curling my fist up mum calming me down grabbing onto my T shirt slowly pulling me away. I turned around walking back with mother and sister patting my sisters back cheering her up.

Quick-Write: Graffiti street

I finished my diploma and Mum said she’ll take my friends and I to the other side of the world. We went on a plane and flew over to LA. We cruised down the street and bought clothes and other trendy gears, we walked past an alleyway and saw graffiti everywhere. I was amazed by the art and beauty the people perfected in it. Different colours, shapes and images grab your instant attention. That's graffiti street for you!

My Explanation

How does a Tsunami form?

Tsunami’s are like waves but larger and greater it has a Trough and a crest and consist on calm water but the movement through water.

For normal sea waves it forms by the wind depending on how large the winds are consists the waves with it’s size and width. But Tsunamis are caused by the energy reflecting under the water from a Volcanic eruption, Submarine landslide or an earthquake on the seafloor which is created by the tectonic plates the releases lots of energy up in the water, the energy rises up raising the water to go above it’s sea level. The gravity pull it back down making the sea level to spread out horizontally which spreads into two. Tsunamis can reach up to 500 miles per hour. When the Tsunamis far from shore the energy preserves under the sea forming one near the shore, It’s called “ Shoaling occurs “ Because there is less water to move through there is still fast movement, if the trough reaches shore first the water will travel up further than normal before the waves hits, which could leave people in a pinnacle statement.

If a Tsunami hits in New Zealand it could probably be really effective to our houses and homeland people.

Kiwi Can

Every Monday we have a program called Kiwi can. We learn new things like life tips and we could do at school to improve on behaviour, leadership, and lessons to help in the future. In that lesson we learnt how to reliable and honest. After that we played games and done activities working as a team.

The ending of our volley ball season

Today for volley ball we played games and listened to music. Our instructor Antonio/AKA Toni put us into groups of four and five's. The goal for every team was to get the most point's. My team was group 4 Leetia, Amy, Kelly , and myself. We worked together having fun and encouraging each other. Unfortunately we didn't win but we were proud of each other and that's all that matters. At the end the winning team got their prise. My teacher told asked me to give a short but strong ending speech. I thanked Toni for everything she done. We ended strong leaving with a proud big smile.

Star Signs

Today we gathered up as a class and done an activity.  Our activity was to go around and find people's star sign to make a tally chart. It was very interesting finding out people's birthday, quite a surprise. After we finished we drew our tally chart's in our book. The most common star sign was Capricorn and the less common factors for the star signs was Pisces, Taurus , and Scorpio. We all learnt something new about each other.

and everyone was happy with it.

Thursday's day of work

Today we gathered up as a class with our deputy head principle Miss Sadgrove. Everything was focused on Key words and word classes. Simile , Pronoun , Metaphor , and personification. After when our deputy head left, my teacher challenged us to write a paragraph using similes. She gave us a picture to look at and to visualise and write one paragraph. Last week
We cherished the fun moments playing volleyball, making chocolate hedgehogs, and also a fun disco.

One of my favourite moments that I liked was volleyball and making chocolate hedgehogs.
In volleyball I learnt new and useful skills. Passing , Setting , Serving , and my favourite
Spiking.

For Writing (focus is procedural writing) we had to get into groups of 4 and 5’s, my group was the best. We made it with style overpowering other groups with our intelligence and our ways of cooking.
I let my group do the dirty work, My part was to snack on the delicious slices we made.
